Frequently Asked Questions

Q. How do I begin the booking process?

Once we confirm our availability on your wedding date, the next step is to figure out how many hours of coverage you'll be needing. We will then send you a contract along with the retainer amount that we require to secure your booking.

If you happen to live on the Sunshine Coast we’d love to meet you for a tea! If you live in Vancouver, or elsewhere, we’d be happy to have a Skype call to say hello and to answer any other questions you might have.

Q. What are you prices?

Once we receive your initial inquiry, we’ll send over a detailed list of my pricing and packages. We’re also more than happy to create a custom package based on your vision for the day.

Full Day Wedding Photography Packages start at $4500.

Full Day Wedding Photography & Videography Packages start at $7500 and include a complimentary Sunshine Coast photo and video engagement session.

Q. How many edited photos will we receive?

We generally give approximately 100 finished photos per hour of coverage including lots of black and white images.

Q. How do we receive our finished photos?

We will send you an online photo gallery that includes all of the best high-resolution edited digital images. This beautiful gallery enables you to download, print, and share the images with family and friends.

Q. When can we expect to receive the finished photos?

The process generally takes between 10-12 weeks in my busy season, however we do send a preview gallery one week after your wedding day that includes a sneak peek of images of the day’s most memorable moments. For wedding films, the process is 14-16 weeks.

Q. Do you offer wedding albums?

Yes! Please get in touch with us once your wedding is finished and we can start the process of creating a beautiful photo album.

Q. What is your approach to photographing a wedding?

We have a very candid approach. We love capturing natural interactions and emotions, however when needed We’ll provide some direction.

Q. How would you describe the style of your photos?

Brian and I have a storytelling approach, which means that we love capturing the authenticity of unposed moments. However, we also like to have fun with our couples in creating some artsy shots that show off the beauty of the day.

Q. Do you travel for weddings?

We sure do! Let’s talk.

Q. I noticed that you’re now offering cinematic wedding films. Is that the same thing as hiring a wedding videographer?

The main product of our wedding films is an 8-12 minute cinematic edit that beautifully captures the essence of the entire day. These films are the perfect length to share with friends and family.

We also offer feature-length, documentary-styled films that include more complete coverage.

All cinematography and post-production film editing is done by my partner, Brian Thompson, who has many years of creative experience in the industry.

Q. Do you have insurance?

Yes, our gear is fully ensured and we are covered for $2,000,000 commercial general liability.
